since i posted, i know. But it was month-end which is not fun in my little accounting world, and i'm the peon in the department. N the new guy is awesome....We have whispering conversations in his cube cause i have to file stuff there and he'll vent and I found out on Friday that we have the exact same tast in books and movies. He is currently reading Gertrude Stein and David mcCullough (sp?). I literally about died. and then we had a discussion about Capote. Did I mention that he likes indie flicks and documentaries? Even if it turns out that he thinks i'm a troll I won't care, cause it's cool just to have someone to talk to that likes the same things that i do.
I finished a hot pink hat while i was attending a hen party at S.'s house. most of his friends are well over 30 and into long discussions about pre-menopausal symptons and the freaky shit they do in bed. My ears are still burning, but more power to them. i turned down a trip to karoke night at the icehouse cause big surprise my ears are screwed up from the rainfest last weekend and the smoke there was just going to make it worse, and i wanted to be semi-pleasant for n and co.'s big super bowl party tomorrow.
next weekend is the big trip to wichita. a's baby shower and pre v-day support for M (and hopefully some stitch and bitch and BOOZE).
