Scatter Brained

I lost my little tiny piece of paper that my secret pal at work filled out. So I don't know her birthday or her anniversary other than one is in april and the other is in july. It disappeared my letter holder where it has been every day that I didn't need to look at it. Luckily I remember the other stuff. Hopefully she has those dates in her Outlook calendar, otherwise I might have to do some Nancy Drew detective work. Lucky my secret pal is my boss and she is a chatterbox.

A and Baby L are still doing great. I got to talk to Baby L on the phone last night. She is going to be a talker like her mom, I can already tell. I bought the girly outfit at the Gap that I have been drooling over forever yesterday.

I am organizing my V-day stuff, so it's all together and doesn't get put in Never Neverland. I organized my Charlie stuff too since I will be sending that out soon. I wish I had more room.

It's official, I'm in the Knitting Olympics. I'm getting my stuff together for that. On my little knitting machine, I have made 2 socks, so I just have one more to make to finish off the pair. There's a hoodie pattern I want to make on the big machine, but i need to yarn substitute and have my mom translate the knitting pattern for it because it shouldn't be complicated but I don't understand some of the parts really. Next weekend is a 5 hour yarn event at Michaels so I really want to go to that.

M called me last night and she was on this happy i just had two beers buzz. Very interesting, too much truth serum. She's been test driving cars at used car lots cause now that she has her new job that pays more, she wants to finally replace her car that is like practically dying.

Gross story for the day: our bathroom sink is not draining. So my sister has decided to go the grocery store and get some drain-o cause our parents aren't home and we don' t have any de-clogging products in our house. Isn't that nice?

UPDATE:

The bottle of Drain-o really did work. The sink is now draining properly. I finished the socks. I'm just waiting for my mom do to the weaving in part. I also made 15 bottle cap magnets, 4 of which are for the RENT swap. I am nearly finished with a kids hat on the loom, which will be done by the end of the good tv tonight. My mom is almost done crocheting the hooded sweater for BabY L. She gets the craft medal for the weekend. She basically just has the hood part left to make. My contribution to this project was procuring the necessary purple baby yarn. I might make a little purple hat with the leftovers.

Song of the Day: He was a Friend of Mine by the honorable Willie Nelson off the Brokeback Mountain soundtrack. Good lyrics, melody and I think Willie's voice is soothing and very condusive (sp?) to crafty pursuits.
